What are your Instagram comments actually worth?
Most creators answer keyword comments by hand, or not at all. This calculator estimates the monthly revenue you could recover by auto-DMing every one, then shows what ManyChat's per-contact billing would cost at that volume against a flat price. Move the sliders to your numbers.
Estimate only. ManyChat figure is the cheapest of its tiers at your monthly contact count, base plus per-contact overage.
How this is calculated
No black box. Here is exactly what each number means and how the two figures come together.
The revenue figure
The revenue estimate multiplies the funnel one step at a time:
People DM'd is your keyword comments per post multiplied by posts per month, since every matching comment can trigger exactly one DM. Of those, some fraction tap the link inside the DM (click-through). Of those, some fraction buy or sign up (buy rate). Each of those is worth your average order value. The result is what those comments could return in a month if every one got an instant, on-brand reply instead of being left on read.
It is an estimate, not a promise. Your real click-through and buy rate depend on your offer and your audience. Start with conservative numbers and adjust as you learn what your DMs actually convert.
The ManyChat figure
ManyChat bills on a monthly active-contact meter: a base price for a tier, plus a per-contact overage once you pass that tier's included contacts. An active contact is any person you interact with that month, and the count resets monthly even on annual plans.
The calculator takes your monthly contact count (the people you'd DM) and finds the cheapest ManyChat tier for that volume, then adds base price plus per-contact overage where you exceed the included contacts. That is why the ManyChat line climbs with every extra commenter while the Comment Auto Reply line stays flat. The flat figure is our published price, the same whether one person comments or a million do.
The annual savings
Annual savings is twelve months of the ManyChat estimate minus twelve months of our flat price at the same volume. The gap widens the more your comments grow, because per-contact billing charges you more precisely when a post does well.
No success tax
A reel that takes off raises a per-contact bill but not a flat one. The post you worked hardest for shouldn't be the one that spikes your invoice.
One DM per comment
Every estimate assumes exactly one DM per matching comment, sent through Instagram's official API within Meta's limits. That is what is allowed, and it is all we do.
Your numbers, shareable
The sliders start at sensible defaults. Set them to your real comment counts and offer to see a figure you can actually plan around.
Stop leaving money in your comments
Comment Auto Reply auto-DMs every keyword comment at a flat price, no matter how big a post gets. Join the waitlist and we'll send your invite the day it lands on the App Store.
